Abstract

Ecosystem services are known as the products that ecosystems offer us and are of great importance for the balance of the environment and for the subsistence of humanity. These services are classified as provisioning, cultural, regulatory and support, they can take a monetary value for commercialization in the market, which often leads to over-exploitation and causes deterioration in quality. For this reason, this bibliographic review is carried out to highlight the importance of biodiversity and the quality of ecosystem services, since an ecosystem that is threatened, its biodiversity, its services lower its quality, so that this does not happen, we must take more care of ecosystems and protect biodiversity.
