The course “Parametrized Search in Scientific Databases” strengthens the skills required to locate, filter, and retrieve academic information accurately and efficiently. Through practical approaches, participants learn to construct search equations, use Boolean operators, descriptors, thesauri, and parameterization criteria by author, topic, year, language, and document type. Strategies for validating results, ensuring source traceability, and promoting the ethical use of information are also addressed. The course is aimed at students, teachers, and researchers who need to optimize their literature reviews and improve the quality of their research processes and projects.
Objective:
To acquire general training in indexing systems and information search processes for manuscript publication, using current teaching techniques that strengthen the capacities and skills of students, teachers, and researchers in scientific research topics.
