Abstract

The biodiversity includes the set of all the alive beings of the planet, jointly is the term ecosystem that is defined like the relation of the human being with its surroundings due to this I am made the investigation on the fragile ecosystems: Páramos of Ecuador characterized by its diversity of Flora and Fauna, ecological importance in social, cultural and economic aspects the population that inhabits in the low zones of the Páramo is marginalized people with few economic resources where its main work is agriculture for that reason they protect and conserve each space of the Páramo, being the water like important ecosystemic service. Their main impacts are framed by the anthropic activity so conservation measures must be applied so that this ecosystem is in a state of threat. The information was consolidated by books, thesis, reports from various databases where it allowed to know about the Paramos ecosystem that is located in the country of Ecuador being one of the megadiverse countries.
