Sistema de actividades para la preparación laboral de las personas que integran el Servicio de Discapacidad del cantón Milagro, periodo 2024-2025.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to design a system of activities for the job preparation of people with disabilities who are part of the Disability Service. The research was conducted between May 2024 and May 2025 in the Milagro canton, Guayas province, Ecuador, with the purpose of implementing and developing pre-occupational skills and strengthening pre-employment skills in people with moderate disabilities. A mixed methodology was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches through the use of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. In the initial phase, participants maintained a low level of development in job performance skills. In response to this situation, workshops were designed and implemented, covering culinary techniques, personal and social skills, and entrepreneurship management, aimed at helping participants achieve self-employment. The final result promoted the economic and social empowerment of the fifteen participants. The proposed model proved to be effective and replicable, achieving the labor inclusion of people with disabilities.
